What is WitnesSing?

WitnesSing is a choir of inter-denominational Christians dedicated to sharing the word of God.  The group formed in December 1995 and has traveled throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida  and as far west to California and Nevada to spread the message that:

• The Bible is the true and inspired word of God.
• Jesus Christ is God’s son who lived with us, died for our sins, rose on the third day and will come again.
• It is through Christ that we may live eternally with the Father.

WitnesSing is a non-profit organization.

2012 was Fabulous!

WitnesSing had a wonderful 2012 sharing the Word of God with various congregations in the mid-Atlantic area.

In July, we shared our love of Christ  with a concert to support The Way Homes, a charitable organization dedicated to providing a healthy drug/alcohol-free environment for individuals who have committed to a 12 step program with Jesus Christ as their higher power. Those attending the concert at Jenkins church felt blessed that day as we worshiped in song and with testimony.

The choir also traveled to Fayetteville, North Carolina, Freeland, Maryland, and Williamsport MD before returning to sing locally. In North Carolina, as the group was checking in at the hotel, a guest said “sing something for me” and the group promptly broke into an impromptu lobby concert of “When the Holy Ghost Shows Up, We’ll Have Church!” What  a great way to spread the gospel!

In September, WitnesSing delivered their message at the Anne Arundel County Correctional facility on Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie, Md. December found us sharing the Gospel through song and word at Charlestown Retirement Center Chapel, Catonsville, Md; Jenkins Memorial Church, Pasadena, Md. and Prospect/Marvin United Methodist Church, Mt. Airy, Md.

Rehearsal Information

Summer Rehearsal Schedule for WitnesSing begins May 13, 2013

WitnesSing rehearsals are held on Monday’s at 7:30 p.m.:
Jenkins Memorial Church
133 Riviera Drive, Riviera Beach, Maryland.

Rehearsals:  5/13; 5/20; 6/3; 6/10, 6/17, 6/24 and 7/8.  Please note that there is no rehearsal on 5/27 or July 1 in observance of Memorial Day and the July 4th holiday.
